At about 4:00 AM on June 14, Total Cache (a plugin which improves performance by caching) on WordPress rewrote the htaccess file (the file that controls access to content in Apache Web Server), this disallowed access to the majority of WordPress content. Temporarily, we have protected the file so this cannot recur and are looking into moving the critical parts of this file elsewhere as a more permanent solution. Service was restored by 11:24 AM.
